Berge+crew) shot down by nighterfighters the previous evening. Following a final transmission with air traffic control noting large amounts of English fighters (Spitfires) in the area, Vogl and his crew are not heard from again.   </div> <div> 4 Spitfire Vc of 249 Squadron claimed a Ju-88 at 1030 12 m S of Pozzallo on the 3rd of March.
